The Truth of Stone – Its Origin and Story

Stone is not only common in everyday life but has profound impacts on human lifestyles. Exploring stone, like learning about flora and fauna, is an integral process in humanity’s understanding of how the world is and how it came to be. Through stone, we can even trace humanity’s history or seek to connect our internal and external sides. From any perspective, stones have always been a medium with which humans explore the world and drive civilization.

This special exhibition, titled “The Truth of Stone: Its origin and story ”, take multiple perspectives, from astronomy and archaeology to science and industry, in the exploration of how people at different points in history look upon stone and the knowledge derived from stone. In so doing, the exhibition discusses and answers the fundamental question of “What is stone?”
