Benshan Fifth Tunnel Experience  (109.11.03)

l   Part of Benshan Fifth Tunnel is undergoing the annual maintenance works. Only the preparation room and the first 70 meters of the front section of the tunnel are open to the public for visiting.

Ticket: Admission with the entrance ticket of the Museum, or free admission with relevant documents presented.   

Limit on the number of visitors: Due to the narrow space inside this tunnel, a cap limit on the number of visitors is set up to 30 persons.

Opening hours:

Weekdays: AM9:30-PM5:00 (Last admission by 4:30 PM)

Weekends or holidays: AM9:30-PM6:00 (Last admission by 5:30 PM)

Visiting time: Approximately 15 minutes.

Notes:

1. Please wait in line for your visit.

2. Children under 8 years old or 120 cm tall should be accompanied by teachers or parents. (Admission tickets or free admission documents are required for the company.)

3. No barrier-free route or facilities are allowed inside the narrow and tilted Tunnel space caused by the geographical constraints.  Please be advised to reconsider your visit should you have risks of cardiovascular disease, advanced age, pregnancy or self-care deficit.

4. For safety concern, please beware of the wet and slippery floor inside the Tunnel with no food and beverage allowed.

5. High-heals, slippers or sandals are not recommended inside the Tunnel.

New Taipei City Government Gold Museum cooperating with National Taiwan Museum for a promotion- "Admission tickets redeemed for Gold:"

1. Any used admission ticket to National Taiwan Museum can redeem for one entrance ticket to Benshan Fifth Tunnel of the Gold Museum (One ticket for one time visit with no other discount).

2. Promotion period: All used admission tickets purchased in 2020 can be redeemed by January 31st, 2021. All used admission tickets purchased in 2021 can be redeemed by January 31st, 2022.
