Transportation Information

Due to the limited parking space around the museum, visitors are urged to take public transportation as much as possible to get to the museum. Vehicles will be controlled during national holidays and special events, and visitors must park cars in No. 9 parking lot and Shuinandong parking lot and then take a shuttle bus to Jiufen, Jinguashi, and Shuinandong areas. If you are prone to motion sickness, please consider taking motion sickness medication beforehand. There is limited parking space around the museum, so please make use of the parking lot at Cyuanji Temple, which is about a 10-minute walk from there to the museum.

Public Transportation System

Train：

Take the Eastern Line from Taipei to Yilan or Hualien, get off at Ruifang Station, then walk about 100 meters to the Citizen’s Plaza next to Ruifang Police Station and then take the Keelung Bus (788) to Jinguashi.

Bus：

(1)Taipei-Jinguashi: Take the Keelung Bus (1062) from Taipei MRT Zhongxiao Fuxing Station（Exit 2 - No. 180, Section 1, Fuxing South Road, Taipei City）,and get off at Jinguashi Station via Ruifang and Jiufen.

(2) Keelung-Jinguashi: Take the Keelung Bus (788) from Keelung Railway Station（Renxiang Clinic）,and get off at Jinguashi Station via Jiufen.

Via Freeway：

1、Go north on Zhongshan Freeway towards Keelung and get off at Dahua System Interchange→Take the 62 Wanrui Expressway and get off at Ruifang ramp→Take the Provincial Highway 2D→Take a right turn at Mingdeng Road→Go towards Jiufen→Go towards Jinguashi via Jiufen (North 34)→Arrive at Gold Museum.

2、Go north on Zhongshan Freeway towards Keelung and get off at Dahua System Interchange→Take the 62 Wanrui Expressway and get off at Ruibin ramp→Take the Provincial Highway 2 to 78.5 km (Shuinandong)→Turn right to TP34 Rural Highway→Arrive at Gold Museum.

From Hualien and Yilan：

Drive northward to Shuinandong parking lot next to the 78.5 km of Provincial Highway 2 (Coastal Highway) → Turn left to TP34 Rural Highway→ Arrive at Gold Museum .
